American Society of Plant Biologists
The American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) is a professional society devoted to the advancement of the plant sciences. ASPB publishes two world-class journals, Plant Physiology and The Plant Cell, and it organizes conferences and other activities that are key to the advancement of the science. Membership in the American Society of Plant Biologists is open to anyone from any nation engaged with the full spectrum of plant science research, from fundamental to applied.
Plant Biology, ASPB’s annual meeting, typically attracts at least 1500 plant scientists from around the world. Plant Biology 2017 will run June 24 – 28 in Honolulu, HI; the 2018 event will run July 14 – 18 in Montréal, Canada; and the 2019 event will run July 13 – 17 in San Jose, CA.

Plant Direct – A partnership among ASPB, Wiley, and the Society for Experimental Biology, Plant Direct is a new open access journal publishing original research articles that takes innovative approaches to encourage a rapid and transparent publication process.
