ADM

As the world’s population grows, so does demand for quality foods, feed ingredients for livestock, alternative fuels, and environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional chemicals. As one of the world’s leading agricultural processors, ADM plays a pivotal role in meeting all of these needs.

It produces the food ingredients, animal feeds and feed ingredients, biofuels and other products that manufacturers around the world use to provide wholesome food and a better life to millions of people around the globe.

  • Food – Today, many of the world’s largest and best-known manufacturers of grocery staples, packaged foods, prepared meals and specialty foods rely on ADM for hundreds of essential ingredients. From the vast range of flours, shortenings, sweeteners, proteins, chocolate, cooking oils and other ingredients we provide, our customers create products that are enjoyed by billions of consumers every day.

  • Fuels – The same agricultural processing operations ADM uses to produce hundreds of ingredients for food and animal feed also provide us the ability and scale to efficiently produce clean, renewable fuels. Today, ADM is a leading producer of ethanol and biodiesel, and is working independently and in cooperation with partners to develop a new generation of even more efficient biofuels.

  • Grain and Farmer Services – ADM’s grain and farmer services were developed to help farmers get the most from their crops. From making it easier to get a fair price for grain to playing an active role in the communities where it does business, it provides services to help farmers achieve success, sustain their livelihoods and earn a profit from their business.

STEM Ed Initiatives:

STEM Food & Ag Council – ADM is a member of STEMconnector’s STEM Food & Ag Council. The STEM Food & Ag Council will leverage the collective intellect, wisdom and resources of members to identify clear action plans that connect and create careers in food and agriculture. Members of the Council will share their goals to collaborate on focused initiatives that drive impact—both in the United States and throughout the world.
